April 14, 2017 | Beat the Streets Los Angeles was honored to receive a generous financial grant from the LA84 Foundation that provided critical funds for the 2016-17 BTSLA season.
The LA84 Foundation, a legacy of the 1984 Olympic Games, transforms lives and communities through its support of youth sports programs. The foundation has supported thousands upon thousands of Southern California youth, including the boys and girls of BTSLA.
For over 30 years, the LA84 Foundation has made grants to organizations that focus on youth development through sport. We are honored that BTSLA is among the youth sports organizations LA84 has chosen to support. With the grant from LA84, BTSLA was able to purchase wrestling mats for our Downtown Wrestling Academy located at Belmont High School and wrestling shoes and workout gear for our athletes in all of our programs.
BTSLA extends heartfelt appreciation to the LA84 Foundation’s leadership team for their vision to support youth wrestling in Los Angeles.
