The 2016-17 season is underway – First competition this weekend at San Fernando HS

The 2016-17 BTSLA wrestling season is officially underway. With Middle School Programs and Neighborhood Training Centers dotting the Los Angeles landscape, we are excited for our most robust season to date. This weekend at San Fernando HS, our programs will meet for the first competition of the season, a Developmental Jamboree where the goal is for the student-athletes to taste competition, unite as a team, and gain a lot of experience on the mat.

Over the course of the season, our student-athletes will take part in multiple clinics, competitive jamborees, dual meets, and a college-trip experience all leading to the BTSLA Middle School Wrestling Championships on February 26th.
Following the conclusion of the middle school season, we will continue to support our student-athletes through the spring and summer months at USA Wrestling events (including the Kids Folkstyle State Championships), the all-girls Angel City Grand Prix freestyle tournament, and Futures Camp in June 2017.
