October 02, 2015  |  Beat the Streets Los Angeles announced today the launch of the 2015 – 2016 Season. Highlighting the launch is the announcement of three new Middle School Programs and three Neighborhood Training Centers.
New for this season are Belvedere Middle School in East Los Angeles and Rise Kohyang Middle School in the Koreatown neighborhood of Central Los Angeles. These programs expand BTSLA’s partnership with the After-School All-Stars Los Angeles (ASAS) after-school program.

A third middle school program added for the season is Thomas Starr King Middle School in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Central Los Angeles. King Middle School marks the second partnership with L.A.C.E.R. after-school programs, joining Washington Irving Middle School.
Additional new programs for the 2015-2016 season include Neighborhood Training Centers at Mountain View High School, Diego Rivera Learning Center, and Verdugo Hills High School. These program sites expand BTSLA opportunities to El Monte, South Los Angeles, and Sunland respectively.
The growth of programs is just one of the bright spots for BTSLA entering the new season. The 2015-2016 event schedule includes two clinics featuring world class athletes and technicians, four BTSLA competitions, expanded coaches education opportunities, and a college trip experience that will see BTSLA athletes attend an outdoor dual meet at Cal Baptist as the Lancers battle with Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 14th. In addition to the dual meet, BTSLA athletes will tour the campus and have the opportunity to meet with the Cal Baptist admissions team to learn more about the university experience.
