October Female Athlete of the Month: Anjali Khashaki

November 8, 2013  |  Two outstanding student-athletes were selected for 2013-14 season’s first Athlete of the Month recognition, BTSLA announced today.

Anjali Khashaki was honored as the inaugural female BTSLA Athlete of the Month.  Khashaki, a 7th grade student at Mt. Gleason Middle School was nominated by coach Marcie Van Dusen. “Anjali is our leader and as an eager learner she leads best by example.  She continues to impress me each day with not only her abilities but her positive attitude.” said Van Dusen.  Khashaki is in her second year with BTSLA and was selected as a recipient of the 2013 Women’s Camp Scholarship Program last summer.
