Crystal Rodriguez

Americorp Up2Us Coach | Crystal Rodriguez was born and raised in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Crystal was the first in her family to graduate with a high school diploma and attend college. In 2017 Crystal started wrestling at Beat the Streets Los Angeles’ Downtown Academy. Here, she developed a passion for helping others and serving her community. Her passion for service led her to San Jose where she completed a year of service with City Year, through Americorps.

Crystal has used the lessons she learned through the sport of wrestling to develop positive habits, overcome obstacles and pursue her education. As a Coach and Mentor with Beat the Streets Los Angeles, Crystal hopes to inspire the next generation.
