Gleason, Rosalinda Vargas – Pathways, Chris Vasquez – Walnut Park, V’ante Moore – Stella MCA, and Eduardo Ruano – Topanga PAL.Coach of the Year honors went to Sarah Saenz of PUC Schools, and Nick Cegelski of Edison Middle School. These individuals were recognized for consistently going above and beyond their general responsibilities and showing great commitment and compassion to their programs and athletes.
BTSLA recognized the Los Angeles School Police Department (LASPD) as its Partner of the Year. The LASPD is partner to 2 community programs with several planned expansion programs in development. Accepting the recognition were LASPD officers Andrea Galindo of Valley East Division and Ismael Castenada of South Division.
